What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Heather is about 4 months old. Found outside where we fed her until it was so cold she found her way into our garage. We then brought her inside and she is a very sweet girl. Very cautious, but is making amazing progress in a very short amount of time. Even while being cautious she purrs constantly while getting attention and will make for an amazing cat to a dedicated family willing to give her some time to figure out her surroundings. No problems with our dog or cat.
After a short time inside, she trusts us enough to play, pet her while eating, she will crawl into your hand if you offer it to her. She loves pets and feels safest when someone is touching her for reassurance. Still working on being picked up, but she is making steady progress and is very affectionate.
We are rehoming her solely based on us already having a cat and a dog, and our cat does better without other cats in the home. If that was not the case we would love to keep her!
