My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Velma!
Velma is a 6-month-old spayed female short-haired grey kitten with the most gorgeous colouring and big, expressive ears that give her endless character. She came into our care with her sister Reenie, and the two girls are fast friends. They would be a wonderful fit for a family looking to adopt a pair, but Velma would also do well joining a home on her own.

Velma is a sweet, gentle girl who is ready to grow up surrounded by love. She has been spayed, started on her vaccination schedule and is microchipped.

Velma’s adoption fee is $75.

If you are interested in meeting Velma, please visit www.mjhs.ca, click the Adopt tab, then Adoptable Animals, and scroll to her beautiful face to submit your application. Once your application has been approved, we will contact you to come spend some time with Velma to be sure she is the right fit for you. If after meeting her you decide she is not the kitten for you, there is no obligation to complete the adoption process.

We look forward to hearing from you — Velma is ready to find her forever family! 🐾💕
