The lovely Chickett joined us as a semi-feral with a mangled back leg in Juny 2025. Her caretaker had her spayed (TNR'd) after she had a litter back in 2020. She possibly was born in spring 2020. When Chickett joined us, we got her in for her amputation then set out to socialize her.
Chickett now loves her life indoors. She knows her name, coming running to "chick, chick, chick." HOWEVER she is only socialized to a limited number of people, typically hiding from everyone else.
Chickett needs a home that will be patient with her, allowing her to adapt in her own time. Someone who won't force her to do things before she is ready.
The beauty has done well with other felines. In fact, her room has been the transition room for kittens, and Chickett has accepted them all.
Chickett is negative for both FIV and feline leukemia. She's been vaccinated against rabies and distemper. (She arrived into our care spayed.) Chickett is available for adoption for $50.
