Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Cairo is a sleek grey tabby with white and an irresistible, slightly goofy smile that’s guaranteed to steal your heart. He recently had a dental procedure to make sure his mouth is healthy and pain-free, and while he did lose 12 of his tiny incisors, he gained a whole lot of character in the process. His little grin just makes him extra lovable — and it doesn’t slow him down one bit!
Cairo is a laid-back, chill guy who enjoys the simple pleasures in life: catnip, comfy spots, and plenty of attention from his humans. He’s affectionate without being demanding and loves soaking up pets and companionship. He does great with other cats and would be happiest in a calm home — ideally without dogs, or with older, very mellow dogs who respect his space. Cairo is also good with kids and would make a wonderful addition to a gentle, loving family.
If you’re looking for a sweet, easygoing companion with a one-of-a-kind smile and a heart full of love, Cairo might just be your perfect match 💙
Cairo is fixed, microchipped, FIV/FeLv negative, and up to date on vaccinations for her age.

Twin Cities Pet Rescue (TCPR) is a small, 501c3 nonprofit, companion animal rescue organization. TCPR does not have a facility and is 100% foster-based. TCPR rescues dogs, cats and small animals of all breeds; rescuing them from city impounds, puppy mills, and other situations of abuse and neglect. Once rescued, all animals receive veterinary care ranging from spay/neuter, vaccines, microchips, and basic testing to specialty eye surgeries, pet dermatology care, and various other specialty treatments. Once an animal is rescued by TCPR, it remains in a foster home until adopted, no matter how long that might take.
TCPR often rescues animals that are considered “less adoptable” by other rescue organizations, as they are often the ones overlooked and truly left behind; and in need of the most help. These animals might be overlooked due to their age, health status, special needs or breed. TCPR works to help as many animals in need find their furever families as we can, especially helping those animals that need help most.
