My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Apache is a very out-going and vocal purring machine! He likes a lot of attention from his human companions, and is very friendly and talkative. He loves to be petted and will gently remind you if your petting session ends too quickly! He will also rub on your legs with his paws if he wants to get your attention.

Apache is an explorer and likes to check out all of the accessible spaces in his home. If you have the bottom kitchen cabinets open, he will walk right inside of them! If he can find a path, he will also jump on top of the kitchen cabinets and refrigerator to get a full view of his surroundings. He loves to be a part of everything you are doing.

He also enjoys running around, swatting at his toy mice. He seems to like the small ones that easily get under the furniture or closet doors, so it is good to have an ample supply! Currently, his favorite toy seems to be a wand toy with feathers. He loves interactive play with this people. Although Apache is 4 years old, he is still a kitten at heart.

With his energetic personality and love of attention, Apache would do well in a family situation with children ready to play with him. A young and playful cat or kitten companion who he can run, wrestle and cuddle with would be an added bonus. Apache will make a wonderful addition to any family with someone home enough to give him all of the love and attention he deserves.

All cats & kittens are up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, dewormed, fixed, and tested FeLV/FIV negative. Adoption fee is a minimum $85 per cat donation to Feral Fixers. More about this rescue

Feral Fixers is dedicated to the Trap, Neuter & Return (TNR) of feral cats within DuPage county. As part of our mission, we also rescue friendly cats and kittens that have been abandoned outside. We socialize and provide medical care to these kitties in our foster homes, and then make them available for adoption.

Come meet some of the adoptable cats below at one of our upcoming weekend Adoption Events! No application is required to attend, but we encourage you to apply online in advance to get pre-approved with the Adoption Questionnaire linked above.

Next Adoption Event:

• Sunday, 2/22, 1-4pm, at the Feral Fixers building (330 Eisenhower Ln N, Lombard)

Adoptions by appointment are always available between adoption events.

We also regularly hold adoption events at our various pet store partners (PetSmart)
