Mountain Dew missed the bus!
Meet Mountain Dew, a silly little 5 month old kitten who should have been available for adoption last month! He was rescued from a shelter in North Carolina and was staying at a loving foster home with his other kitty friends while they waited for transport up to Delaware Pet Rescue. On transport day, a dozen kitties (including Mountain Dew, or so we thought), were loaded up into crates and picked up by our awesome transporter. Then a couple hours later, guess who comes sauntering into the living room - you guessed it - Mountain Dew! We aren't sure how he missed the bus, but he did, and he seemed proud of himself about it! This time, we double and triple checked to make sure he was indeed on the transport bus, and he arrived safe and sound! He is such a friendly and outgoing kitten who just loves to be pet, loves to be held and loves to play. He is great with other cats, dogs and kids. He slept in his foster mom's bed every night and is an A+ cuddler. We love him and we know you will too! Just make sure he doesn't somehow Houdini himself out of his crate when you come pick him up!
This cat is neutered, microchipped, up to date on distemper and rabies vaccinations, dewormings, tested negative for FIV/Felv, is on flea/tick preventative and ear mite preventative.

*Please note - we do not do in-person meet and greets. Potential adopters can speak to the cats foster mom on the phone or do a meeting on Zoom or Facetime if desired to virtually meet the cat. You can pick your kitty up 'curb side'. Cats can be returned with a full refund for up to one week. *

Rabies vaccination (if cat is 6 months or older)
Distemper vaccination
SNAP testing for FIV, Leukemia and heart worm
Broad spectrum dewormers
Monthly flea/tick preventative
Ear mite preventative
The above is standard for ALL cats in our care. But many cats we rescue also require some additional TLC prior to adoption, such as antibiotics, eye ointments, wound care, fungal treatment, x-rays, or various surgeries. We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 charity. The adoption fee helps to offset our standard and non-standard vet bills.
