DOB: 3/27/2023 Weight: 70-80 lbs.

Alfie is being surrendered by his family due to work commitments preventing them from giving him the time and attention he deserves. He's house and crate-trained, very happy and affectionate and loves being around people. Alfie does well with kids and other dogs.

He's neutered, vaccinated and microchipped, and will be tested for heartworms very soon. His adoption fee is $275 and you can apply here if you're interested: Adoption Application - Legacy Humane Society

We do not have a facility to house the dogs in our program. They are all kept in foster homes until they are adopted. Adopters will complete an adoption app. If he/she has a pet, we will check their vet reference and a home visit is not needed (as long as the vet reference is current). All pets must be up to date current on Heartworm prevention and S/N. If a home visit is needed, we will complete that ASAP--as we don't want any delays in the adoption process. The adoption fees are listed here: https://legacyhumanesociety.org/adoption-fees/. There is a 5-day grace period to make sure he/she is a good fit for your family. A full refund will be issued if the pet is returned within the 5-day trial period.
