My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Pixie 🖤

Pixie is a beautiful black girl with a heart just as soft as her sleek coat. Found as a stray, she hasn’t let her past take away her sweet and loving nature. She is incredibly social, affectionate, and very easy to handle.

From the moment you approach her kennel, Pixie greets you with gentle meows and comes right up to the door for attention. She allows full handling, is very easy to pick up, and can be carried comfortably without any fuss. Even with hallway commotion, multiple people passing by, and dogs barking, Pixie may feel a little nervous — but she never tries to run or squirm. She simply looks to her person for reassurance.

Pixie thrives when she’s around people. If left alone in a room, she may cry at the door because she truly just wants companionship. As soon as you’re with her, she happily comes over for pets and affection. She especially loves being brushed and will soak up all the attention you’re willing to give.

Pixie would likely do well in almost any loving home. She may need a little time to settle in, but her gentle, affectionate personality shines through quickly. If you’re looking for a loyal, sweet companion who wants to be close to her people, Pixie is ready to meet you. 🖤
