Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi, I’m Clementine. I was found lying in a pile of snow, severely underweight and covered in mats - the person who found me thought I had already passed. Thankfully, I was discovered just in time and brought to Coconino Humane Society for a second chance at life.
You might notice my right ear looks a little different; that’s from chronic ear infections, part of the story I carry with me. I was already spayed when I arrived, so I once had a family - though only I know how I ended up on my own.
I’m a senior lady, at least 10 years old, and I’m in the early stages of kidney disease. Because of this, I’ll need to stay on a special kidney-friendly diet for the rest of my life. I also need a dental procedure, but I’m not quite strong enough for sedation yet.
Despite everything, I am an incredibly sweet, friendly, and easygoing girl. I enjoy everyone I meet and have been neutral with other cats here at the shelter. I truly just want a safe, loving place to rest my paws and be cherished.
At this time, I’m available for a medical foster or foster-to-adopt home. If you’re interested in me, please ask a staff member and be sure to speak with our medical team about my kidney care. I’d love to spend my golden years surrounded by kindness and love.
