My story

Hi, I’m Nana and I’m ready for my forever family!

My story started a little unexpectedly. I was wandering on my own when a very kind family found me and brought me into their home to keep me safe until Animal Ark had room for me. I didn’t know what to expect, but I quickly learned that couches are soft, people are gentle, and life feels a whole lot better when you’re loved.

While I stayed with them, I got to play with their two dogs, we had so much fun together. I also spent lots of time snuggling with their kids, who were 8 and 17. They made me feel like part of the family, and I did great with everyone.

Now I’m at Animal Ark, and I’m hoping the next chapter of my life brings me something I’ve never had before: a forever home of my very own. I’m a young dog with a big heart, a playful spirit, and a love for companionship. Whether it’s romping around with other dogs, hanging out with kids, or curling up next to you after a long day, I’m happiest when I’m with my people.

If you’re looking for a sweet, social, and loving companion, I’d really love to meet you. Maybe your home is the one I’ve been waiting for.

Their adoption process

Submit Application

You are welcome to fill out the application online at https://animalarkmn.org/adopt/ or in person at the Animal Ark (2600 Industrial Court).

Meet the Pet

Please call ahead to make sure that the pet you are interested in is at the Ark and someone is available to show you the pet.

Approve Application

Home Check

For Cats we do a virtual home visit once the application is approved. For Dogs we do an in person home visit after we do a meet and greet.

5.
Take the Pet Home

Once a home visit is done and approved, we will set up a day and time for you to sign a contract and take the pet home!

Additional adoption info

We do not do same day adoptions.

Adoption Fees:
• Dogs and puppies: $200-$800
• Adult Cats: $180
• Kittens: $225
• Senior Cats: $125
