Cry Me a River is a sweet orange boy who loves his people, crunchy treats, and cozy blankets. 12 out of 10 perfect loaf. Currently hoarding all the orange cat brain cells. His fosters think he perfectly understands English and possibly other languages too. He has white socks and a perfect cinnamon roll swirl on his right side.
Cry Me a River would be a good work from home buddy or will patiently wait for his people to be home so he can quietly chill in the same room. He was rescued from outside but was clearly raised indoors. As such, he’ll start off as a very polite house guest for a week or two before he realizes a home can be permanent.
This orange boy’s endearing quirks include keeping his tongue stuck out, scooping his dry food out of his bowl with his paw to eat off the ground instead, resting under coffee tables, and loafing, loafing, loafing. Some of his favorite things include cat TV, catnip, and wand toys.
Cry Me a River needs family who can patiently give him just a bit of time to warm up and trust but can be won over with crunchy treats and butt scritches. Once comfortable, he’ll happily sleep in bed with you and just wants to know what you’re up to and where you are. He’s comfortable with more than a few people hanging out at home and doesn’t run away or hide.
Cry Me a River was rescued with dental issues and is in need of surgery. We would be thrilled for a potential adopter to provide a larger adoption donation (between $250 and $400 total) and/or assistance crowdsourcing funds towards their necessary vet bills if possible.
This cat can be adopted with a friend or as a single cat.
