Here's what the humans have to say about me:
I'm a gentle, sweet girl who might be a little shy when we first meet. New things can be scary, so I may hang back at first and watch you with my big thoughtful eyes while I decide if you're safe. Once I do, though, I'm all in. Suddenly I'm glued to your side, soaking up attention like it's my full-time job. I love peanut butter with my whole heart, and I absolutely melt when you talk to me like I'm a tiny baby who needs reassurance (because I do). I'm gentle and goofy when I trust you. I'll lean into you, follow you around, and quietly demand pets by existing very close to your legs. I may be nervous at first, but once I know I'm loved, I become the cuddliest, most devoted little shadow you've ever met. I'm looking for someone patient and kind, who understands that bravery sometimes looks like taking things one step at a time.

The Humane Association of Warren County Animal Shelter and Adoption Center has served Warren County and Southwest Ohio for over 50 years. We operate the only animal shelter and adoption center in Warren County and as a non-profit, animal welfare organization, depend on tax-deductible donations to support our annual budget. We are proud of the fact that, during those 50 years, we have provided a safe haven and loving care for tens of thousands of homeless dogs and cats, giving them a second chance for new and happy lives. In addition, we have reunited thousands of lost pets with their beloved owners.
Since our founding in 1973, our ultimate goal has been to find loving, life-long homes for every adoptable pet left in our care. At the same time, we have been successful in dramatically reducing the alarming number of unwanted dogs and cats in Warren County through our progressive, long-established spay/neuter initiatives.
