My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Alice is the sweetest cat we've ever met. No, seriously. When we pick her up, she curls into our arms and hugs us back. We're talking her arms curl around our necks and she nuzzles her head against us.
Yes, she can be a bit timid at first (which cat isn't?), but she's an amazingly loving cat when given a little bit of trust and patience. She even asks us for pets, mewing nicely, when she sees one of her favorite handlers.
She acts neutrally around other kitties, so we think she would do well in a multi-cat household. Unfortunately, since she came in as a stray, we don't know how she'd do with dogs or children, though given her very mild nature, we don't think kids would be that much of a problem. Either way, we ask all human family members to come by the shelter to meet her.
Thank you!
