Meet Ms. Dolly, Assistant Manager of Home Operations 🐾
Ms. Dolly is a sweet, 3-year-old corgi currently accepting applications for her forever workplace (a.k.a. your home). In true corgi fashion, she prefers to be involved—just not micromanaging. Think supportive middle management with excellent vibes.
📋 Current Skill Set:
Game Night Oversight: Playing Uno? Dolly will discreetly review your competitors’ cards and report back with meaningful eye contact.
Academic Support: Doing homework? She’ll sit directly on your notebook to enforce mandatory study breaks (paid in pets).
Kitchen Compliance: Making dinner? Dolly will ensure the household follows the official Corgi Cheese Tax Policy—no exceptions.
Actively Pursuing Certifications: Ready for a short game of fetch? Dolly will show her willingness, and her ability to toss her Lambchop stuffy in the air and catch it!
While her résumé may sound demanding, she is actually quite laid-back, gentle, and easygoing. She welcomes new people calmly and keeps meetings short. You’ll only hear from her when something important comes up—communicated via a soft groan, a short bark, or an adorable lip clap—usually to request additional belly rubs.
🏡 Office Etiquette:
Fully housebroken
Sleeps nicely through the night in her crate
Walks nicely on a leash (minor enthusiasm noted when bunnies or squirrels' clock in)
Up to date on vaccines, spayed, and ready to start immediately
👨👩👧👦 Team Dynamics:
Dolly does great with kids and is open to working alongside other dogs or cats with proper introductions to be sure the team gels.
If you’re looking for a loyal, low-key coworker who boosts morale and takes her cheese benefits seriously, Ms. Dolly may be the perfect hire. 💛
Dolly is being fostered in Havertown, PA, so prospective adopters will need to do a meet and greet in/around that area. All family members must be present -- including 4-legged ones.
If you think Ms. Dolly would make the perfect addition to your family, apply today!!!

Who We Are:
Zoe's House, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit animal welfare group based out of Sinking Spring,PA. We are comprised solely of volunteers that generously volunteer their time, their homes and their hearts. We are dedicated to rescuing homeless, neglected or abandoned animals from high kill shelters or from owners who can no longer care for them. We provide the animals with loving foster care, veterinary treatment and rehabilitation until we are able to pair them with compatible and loving forever homes. At times we also offer permanent sanctuary to those with special or medical needs and that are considered unadoptable.
Zoe's House serves as a resource to our community and to our adopters by providing education and information on responsible pet ownership, the importance of spay/neuter, behavior training, nutrition, puppy mill awareness, heartworm preventative and breed education. Our organization also networks with other shelters and rescues. We try to assist other organizations when possible.
Zoe’s House is not federally funded, and relies solely on donations to continue to rescue. Although we are not breed specific, the need to save Dobermans, Rottweilers, German Shepherds and Pitbulls is ever growing; therefore, we have focused primarily on saving the lives of our beloved and majestic strong breeds.
What We do:
There are many people involved in the rescue, rehabilitation and re-homing of each dog we take in. Our rescue effort starts with the initial intake request for a dog. Whether this be at a shelter of from an individual in the community, we try to gather as much information as we can. We then pickup or transport the dog to safety in rescue. At this time we administer immediate veterinary care to determine the health of the dog and ensure the animal has proper immunizations. We also have bloodwork done for a heartworm check, lyme, fecal and sometimes a blood panel depending on the age and health of the dog. The dog remains in "in-home" foster care and becomes a part of the fosters family for an undefined period of time. We evaluate the dog and work on basic manners and obedience. At times we have dogs for a longer duration due to health and/or age. The dogs in our care come with us to adoption events, home screenings, and ultimately permanent placement. Zoe's House then provides post-adoption follow-up and support and welcomes the new family to the "Zoe's House Family!" We strive to stay in close contact with all of our adopters to ensure the transition and life long relationship continues to be magical. We remain dedicated to the principal that we never want one of our rescues to end up in a shelter or in a home that does not provide a responsible and loving environment for the life of the animal.
We truly believe that one dog at a time... we are making a difference!
