Dasher’s journey began at the local shelter alongside his brother. When his brother was adopted, Dasher was left behind. Shy and scared, he struggled in the busy shelter environment and was often overlooked simply because he was afraid.
As he started to feel safe, his sweet personality truly shined. He discovered how much he loves to play, cuddle, and be close to his people. Today, Dasher is affectionate, gentle, and quietly devoted.
He’s a calm, well-mannered boy who does wonderfully with kids, cats, and other dogs. Dasher may take a moment to warm up in new situations, but once he trusts you, he will be your loyal shadow and constant companion.

We use Shelterluv to help us manage our application process. All applications are reviewed by adoption specialists and all potential adopters are interviewed with a brief home check visit. If all goes well, we send them the adoption contract, accept the adoption fee, and coordinate picking up the pet.
