This helps Mostly Mutts Animal Rescue & Adoption with pet care costs.
A SWEET AND GENTLE COMPANION: Approx. 2.5 years old / Approx. 11.5 lbs.
Hi, my name is Mu Shu! My sibling and I were adopted together from Mostly Mutts a few years ago. Unfortunately, a family member developed allergies, so I find myself in need of a good home. Thankfully, Mostly Mutts was able to bring me back into the Mostly Mutts family – placing me in a great foster home, so I hope to find my new family soon.
• OTHER CATS/DOGS/KIDS: I lived in my previous home with my sibling, so I may enjoy another kitty in my new home. If you have a nice kitty at home who may enjoy a kitten friend, let’s meet! / I’m not sure I’d like living with a dog - as I am a bit timid, so proper introductions and supervision would be in order. / I may do well with older, calm children. Best they are gentle and know how to handle a kitty, and – of course, let’s meet!
• PERSONALITY INFORMATION: I was a bit confused about losing my home of two years, and it took me a little while to show my true loving and sweet nature in my foster home. I spent a good bit of time hiding away from the goings on in the house and not eating very well. Lately, I’ve settled into my foster home nicely and am now confident enough to explore the house and watch the birds from the window. An affectionate girl, I’ve expertly developed my ‘lap kitty’ skills – waiting for my foster mom to wake up so I can sit on her lap and purr effusively. My foster says it is a great way to start her day, and I am happy to oblige! As I’ve opened up, I have become more social – following my foster everywhere. Gentle, with the sweetest little meow, my foster says I am ‘a joy to have around’. I bet you will agree!
• SKILLS/LITTER TRAINED STATUS: I keep my area clean, as I am litter trained.
• LIKES/DISLIKES: I love to hang out with my foster – sitting on her lap collecting all the petting and cuddling I can. I will gently remind her to keep the attention coming with a soft head butt. I also like catnip and will play with a fun wand toy when the mood strikes. Making use of the scratching post, I’ve been a great houseguest with no destructive scratching, so have a post handy in my new home, please. I’ve discovered my love of ‘Temptations’ treats and enjoy mealtime with yummy ‘Sheba’ cat food. I also let my fosters get a good night’s sleep, as I curl up at the foot of their bed – remaining quiet during the night. / Though I’ve opened up in my foster home, I will likely need some time to adjust in my new home, so please don’t rush me. Give me some space and time, and I will surely reward you with love and affection – just as I am now doing in my foster home.
• MEDICAL: I'm current on my annual vaccinations, micro-chipped, spayed and combo tested negative.
I am looking for a great family to give me a loving home! My adoption fee is $175.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
