This helps Mostly Mutts Animal Rescue & Adoption with pet care costs.
A SWEET AND GENTLE COMPANION: Approx. 2.5 years old / Approx. 11.5 lbs.
Hi, my name is Mu Shu! My sibling and I were adopted together from Mostly Mutts a few years ago. Unfortunately, a family member developed allergies, so I find myself in need of a good home. Thankfully, Mostly Mutts was able to bring me back into the Mostly Mutts family – placing me in a great foster home, so I hope to find my new family soon.
• OTHER CATS/DOGS/KIDS: I lived in my previous home with my sibling, so I may enjoy another kitty in my new home. If you have a nice kitty at home who may enjoy a kitten friend, let’s meet! / I’m not sure I’d like living with a dog - as I am a bit timid, so proper introductions and supervision would be in order. / I may do well with older, calm children. Best they are gentle and know how to handle a kitty, and – of course, let’s meet!
• PERSONALITY INFORMATION: I was a bit confused about losing my home of two years, and it took me a little while to show my true loving and sweet nature in my foster home. I spent a good bit of time hiding away from the goings on in the house and not eating very well. Even treats did not interest me. Though I’m still a bit skittish around people I don’t know and new sounds, I’ve settled into my foster home nicely and am now confident enough to explore the house and watch the birds from the window. I’m not a lap kitty, but I will sit next to my foster and ask for attention with gentle head butts. As I’ve opened up, I have become more social – following my foster everywhere. Gentle with the sweetest little meow, my foster says I am ‘a joy to have around’. I bet you will agree!
• SKILLS/LITTER TRAINED STATUS: I keep my area clean, as I am litter trained.
• LIKES/DISLIKES: I love to hang out with my foster – sitting nearby and collecting all the petting I can. I will gently remind her to keep the attention coming with a soft head butt. I also like catnip and will play with a fun wand toy when the mood strikes. Making use of the scratching post, I’ve been a great houseguest with no destructive scratching, so have a post handy in my new home, please. I’ve discovered my love of ‘Temptations’ treats and enjoy mealtime with yummy ‘Sheba’ cat food. I also let my fosters get a good night’s sleep, as I curl up at the foot of their bed – remaining quiet during the night. / Though I’ve opened up in my foster home, I will likely need some time to adjust in my new home, so please don’t rush me. Give me some space and time, and I will surely reward you with love and affection – just as I am now doing in my foster home.
• MEDICAL: I'm current on my annual vaccinations, micro-chipped, spayed and combo tested negative.
I am looking for a great family to give me a loving home! My adoption fee is $175.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
