Meet Arlene!
This adorable almost-2-year-old Lab/Shepherd mix weighs about 39 pounds and is the perfect medium size.
Arlene is spayed, microchipped, up to date on all vaccines, and working hard on her house training. She’s a smart girl who walks nicely on a leash and has lovely house manners. She’s mild-mannered and has been quiet in her foster home.
Arlene does great with kids and other dogs. Cats, however, are a little too interesting to her, so a cat-free home would be best.
She enjoys playing with dog friends but is also happy to entertain herself with toys. While she may be a bit shy at first, with some gentle encouragement she blossoms and absolutely melts for belly rubs.
Her foster was told she can be an escape artist, but they haven’t experienced any issues. She isn’t a big fan of going into a crate, though she settles after a bit. At night she’s been trusted loose in the house, hasn’t made any messes, and makes a wonderful snuggle buddy in bed.
If you’re looking for a sweet, loyal companion with a gentle heart, Arlene might be your girl.

We are all volunteers passionate about dogs. Our goal is to find homes for displaced dogs that could possibly be euthanized in a shelter. We all are volunteers and will try to get back to you in a timely manner but it may take up to 72 hours.
