My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Rook!
Rook is a 5-month-old brown tabby with a permanent grumpy expression and the softest heart to match. He’s a shy little guy who will often tuck his face away when things feel new or overwhelming—but don’t let that fool you. With a bit of gentle interaction, Rook blossoms into the sweetest companion, reaching out for pets and soaking up affection once he knows you’re kind.

He’s a quiet soul who prefers a calm environment where he can observe, build trust at his own pace, and form a deep bond with his person. Though his serious face might suggest otherwise, Rook is not grumpy at all—he’s tender, loving, and incredibly endearing once you earn his confidence.

Rook is a three-legged kitten, and he gets around just fine. He doesn’t let it slow him down; it’s simply part of what makes him uniquely him. He’s looking for a patient, gentle home that will give him the time and reassurance he needs to truly shine.

If you’re looking for a soft-spoken, sweet companion with an unforgettable little face, Rook may be your perfect match
