My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Foxy, the ultimate "chill" queen who is ready to bring a touch of grace (and a whole lot of relaxation) to your home!

Personality: Foxy is the definition of a "laid-back" feline. Whether she's sunbathing in a window or curling up for a quiet afternoon nap, she takes life at a gentle pace.

Social Butterfly: This sweet mama is exceptionally well-adjusted. She has a "no-drama" policy and is perfectly happy to share her space with other cats and even respectful dogs.

A "Best Friend" Bonus: Foxy would love a forever home where she has another cat friend to keep her company.

The Family Package: Foxy is currently raising her adorable kitten, Cleo, and she wouldn't object to keeping her little mini-me nearby if you have room for a pair! Adopting them together means double the love and half the work, as they will entertain and comfort each other.

Foxy is a resilient girl who has been a wonderful mother and is now looking for a family to call her own. If you're looking for a calm, loyal companion who is as easygoing as they come, Foxy (and maybe Cleo too!) is waiting to meet you.

The adoption fee includes spay/neuter, FIV/FeLV combo test, dewormer, flea treatment, age appropriate vaccines, and microchip. Lifeline Cat Rescue is a private 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization that relies on donations and volunteers. Adoption application

Go meet their pets

All of our cats are cared for in devoted foster homes.

When adoptable, most go to PetSmart on Feedwire Rd in Centerville or to PetSmart on Miamisburg-Centerville Rd by the Dayton Mall. Their bio will indicate where they're located, and if they're in a PetSmart, you can go to meet them.

If they're in a foster home, we are happy to arrange a meeting with an approved application.

More about this rescue

We are a no kill, foster-based rescue in Dayton, OH, that specializes in taking the most at risk cats and kittens from our local community. Many of our cats come in as strays and we provide them with all necessary vetting to get them adoption ready. Until then, they live with us in our homes where they receive dedicated attention and care.

We are all volunteers who live and work in your local community!

We have a motto that we live by: It Takes a Village! And that village always needs new members, so please consider donating to, adopting from, or simply sharing our cause.
