My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Cleo, a tiny firecracker with a big personality!

Personality: Cleo is the definition of "feisty." She is a curious explorer who believes the entire world is her playground—and everything in it is a potential toy.

The Huntress: This little girl loves to "attack" anything and everything that moves. Whether it's a feather wand, a crinkle ball, or even a stray shadow, Cleo is on a mission to pounce, wrestle, and conquer!

Dog-Friendly: Don't let her small size fool you; Cleo is remarkably brave. She doesn't mind dogs at all and is happy to share her kingdom with a respectful canine companion.

A Possible Pair Bonus: While Cleo is a whirlwind of fun on her own, she is currently part of a duo with her mom, Foxy. Foxy’s relaxed nature is the perfect balance to Cleo’s high-voltage play style. Adopting them together means Cleo always has a built-in wrestling partner and a grooming buddy to help her settle down after a long day of "hunting."

If you're looking for a kitten who will keep you laughing and on your toes, Cleo is your girl. She’s ready to bring her spicy spirit to a forever home—

The adoption fee includes spay/neuter, FIV/FeLV combo test, dewormer, flea treatment, age appropriate vaccines, and microchip. Lifeline Cat Rescue is a private 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization that relies on donations and volunteers. Adoption application

Go meet their pets

All of our cats are cared for in devoted foster homes.

When adoptable, most go to PetSmart on Feedwire Rd in Centerville or to PetSmart on Miamisburg-Centerville Rd by the Dayton Mall. Their bio will indicate where they're located, and if they're in a PetSmart, you can go to meet them.

If they're in a foster home, we are happy to arrange a meeting with an approved application.

More about this rescue

We are a no kill, foster-based rescue in Dayton, OH, that specializes in taking the most at risk cats and kittens from our local community. Many of our cats come in as strays and we provide them with all necessary vetting to get them adoption ready. Until then, they live with us in our homes where they receive dedicated attention and care.

We are all volunteers who live and work in your local community!

We have a motto that we live by: It Takes a Village! And that village always needs new members, so please consider donating to, adopting from, or simply sharing our cause.
