My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🐾Name: DJ
🎤Stage Name: Meatball
🎉Occupation : Professional Zoomie Specialist

Hi, I’m DJ (but please call me meatball) I’m an extroverted, snack powered legend, with elite zoomie skills and zero shame about it. I’m crate trained, housebroken, and I know my basic commands especially the ones that might lead to food.

I’m a car ride legend, certified water lover and I will absolutely make a fool of myself for snacks because I am very food motivated. Training me? Easy. Bring treats. Repeat compliments. We’re good.

I prefer to be single dog household (only child energy ✨). I’m dog selective, but honestly, I don’t need siblings I am the entertainment.

If you’re looking for a loyal best friend, built-in comedy show, and a dog who will love you harder than he loves food (and that’s saying something), Meatball is ready to move on.

Apply now before I steal your snacks anyway. 🐶🍖

More about this rescue

We are an animal welfare organization located in Shelby County, Alabama. Our mission is to rescue “priority” dogs (priority dogs are dogs who are at risk of euthanasia due to length of shelter stay, lack of interest from the public, behavioral issues, medical needs, and age) from overcrowded shelters to rehabilitate, rehome, shelter, and provide the love they deserve.
