My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Tux! This 4-year-old, 70-pound handsome boy has a wonderful heart and plenty of love to give. He’s a true gentleman on the leash, knows how to sit on command, and takes treats with the utmost gentleness. Tux’s favorite way to show affection is by giving hugs, and he’ll win you over with his sweet and gentle nature. He isn’t a fan of cats.. so no feline friends for this handsome guy. Tux is ready to be your loyal and loving best friend. Come meet him and let him steal your heart!

More about this rescue

We are an animal welfare organization located in Shelby County, Alabama. Our mission is to rescue “priority” dogs (priority dogs are dogs who are at risk of euthanasia due to length of shelter stay, lack of interest from the public, behavioral issues, medical needs, and age) from overcrowded shelters to rehabilitate, rehome, shelter, and provide the love they deserve.
