My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Reba!
Reba is a 3-year-old black Lab weighing about 35 pounds, and she’s overflowing with affection. This loving girl is happiest when she’s close to her people, soaking up attention and giving it right back.
With her moderate energy level, Reba is a wonderful balance of playful and calm. She enjoys spending time with her foster dog siblings and does well with other dogs when properly introduced. At the same time, she has the kind of personality that would truly shine as an only dog, soaking up all the love and bonding closely with her person or family.
Reba is both house-trained and crate-trained, making her an easy transition into a new home. She’s also very food-motivated and responds well to treat-based training, so she’s eager to learn and will pick up new skills quickly.
Reba hasn’t been tested with cats or children yet, but her gentle, affectionate nature suggests she’ll thrive in a patient, loving home that’s excited to help her continue growing and gaining confidence.
If you’re looking for a sweet, loyal companion who’s ready to give her whole heart, Reba might be the perfect match for you. 🖤🐕

More about this rescue

We are an animal welfare organization located in Shelby County, Alabama. Our mission is to rescue “priority” dogs (priority dogs are dogs who are at risk of euthanasia due to length of shelter stay, lack of interest from the public, behavioral issues, medical needs, and age) from overcrowded shelters to rehabilitate, rehome, shelter, and provide the love they deserve.
