My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Marshall said he is still looking for his forever home !

Marshall is a 1-2yr old mix. He is about 60lbs, fully vaccinated, neutered. When we think of Marshall we think, goofy, lovable, smart, and moderate energy.

He was found outside a gas station in Jacksonville AL. Once he had a vet visit, it was noticed that he was previously shot with bird shot in his leg and possibly ear.

He is fantastic with other dogs of all sizes, preferably in a home with other dogs. He does fine with cats as well. He does chase them every so often but he said he just wants to play tag! He is house trained and working on crate training. He is SUPER smart! Marshall is great on the leash; minimal to no pulling. He would do well in a home with dominate dogs as he does take correction extremely well, he can also be submissive. Farm animals do not seem to bother him either!

More about this rescue

We are an animal welfare organization located in Shelby County, Alabama. Our mission is to rescue “priority” dogs (priority dogs are dogs who are at risk of euthanasia due to length of shelter stay, lack of interest from the public, behavioral issues, medical needs, and age) from overcrowded shelters to rehabilitate, rehome, shelter, and provide the love they deserve.
