Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Klaus, a wonderful, energetic Standard Poodle puppy with a bright, playful spirit and a whole lot of heart. After facing some early challenges that required a medical quarantine, Klaus has absolutely thrived thanks to the incredible care of his foster home and his naturally resilient, joyful temperament. He is a puppy who meets the world with curiosity, enthusiasm, and energy!
Klaus has earned the right to be selective about his forever home! His ideal family will be familiar with poodles and prepared for their grooming, mental, and physical needs. Klaus will require professional grooming every 8 weeks at maximum, and his adopters must be prepared to maintain this throughout his life.
He has been thriving with positive reinforcement training and truly enjoys learning and engaging with his people. Klaus has loved meeting volunteers at the shelter and continues to show what a social, bright boy he is.
Klaus may enjoy living with another dog who matches his playful, energetic style. He is looking for a home ready to help him run, play, learn new tricks, and keep expanding his world. He is still learning to enjoy car rides, and might be able to live with dog savvy cats.
Klaus is ready to give his whole heart to a committed, active, and knowledgeable family, and we can`t wait to find him the right place!
If you think Klaus would be a great fit for your home, please come to the shelter on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays between 12-4pm. If you are not available during those times, please email dogs@worcesterarl.org to check what other times may be available by appointment.
