My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Our puppies are ready to head to their foster-to-adopt homes!

What does “foster-to-adopt” mean? It means the puppies can begin settling into their future forever homes now, while we finish up the remaining pieces of their veterinary care. We will complete their vaccine series and schedule their spay/neuter surgery, and once that’s done, the adoption is finalized!

This approach allows our puppies to bond with their families, start learning routines, and begin socialization in a stable home environment during these important early months.

Each puppy has their own unique personality, but all will need dedicated, patient families who understand that raising a puppy is both joyful and demanding. House training, basic manners, socialization, and lots of love are all part of the journey. Puppies require time, structure, consistency, and a lifelong commitment.

If you’re ready for the hard work, the laughter, the chewed shoelaces, and the unconditional love one of these little ones may be the perfect addition to your family! Submit an application to athenshumane.org/adopt.
