My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Morty is a six-year old corgi with a lot of love to give. We are heartbroken to make this listing, but he has not adjusted well to the addition of a new baby. We picked up Morty as an eight week old puppy and he truly is our first baby.

We are looking for a loving family who can help him live out the rest of his life. The ideal fit has older kids (middle school and up), empty nesters, or experienced dog owners who understand the needs of herding dogs. He needs to be the only pet as we like to say he’s got big dog energy in a little dog’s body.

He loves a good walk, chasing squirrels in the yard, playing chase, give kisses, and is the biggest cuddle bug. He is very food motivated and loves a good bed snuggle.

Morty’s weak selling points are that he is food possessive and leash reactive. We’ve managed it with training and he has worked with an e-collar.

We hope to find the right fit for our special boy. He is a loyal pack dog and has a lot of love to give.
