My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

April is a sweet young cat who craves love and attention and wants to head-bump or cuddle with you as a thank you. She loses herself in happiness with a scratch on the neck or stroke on the back and she's soft as a bunny.

Having come from a colony in an industrial area, April came to her foster home extremely anxious and withdrawn. But in three months, she learned to trust and to be a gentle and communicative kitty. She is patient and quiet as she awaits food or love and only gets quietly vocal if she is hungry.

She still scampers at any movements behind her back or any loud sounds. However, April sleeps between her foster caregiver's pillows at night. In the evening, she hangs out with them in the living room; little by little, she is starting to trust more. She is also beginning to explore play by chasing feather wands and balls.

April would prefer to be the only pet in the home. She would not adjust well to other cats, dogs, or small children. One or two quiet people would be ideal. She can't wait to meet you!
