Smokey Ray is a small, handsome young man with a unique beige and gray tabby coat and a sweet face. One of a litter of 5 rescues who arrived at Magicats together six months ago, he has grown up on a safe, loving Magicats foster home with his siblings, in the care of a widow whose specialty is helping young rescues grow healthy and prepare for a great future in adoption. The smallest of this litter, he is an active, curious, affectionate youngster who will be a bit shy, but once he feels safe will come out of his shell and be a fun pet for an older cat-experienced child ready for a first pet. He would also be a great companion for an older person; enjoying laps, games, toys and a cat tree. Smokey is healthy, cheerful and looking forward for a new forever life. If you have the time and patience to help him learn the ropes of his new life, he'll reward you with his love and friendship, Not a good choice for very small children, and with limited dog experience, he's okay with other polite kitties and will respond especially to pet parents who are cat experienced and can help him love his new life. Our current fee for a cat or kitten is $80.00
We require a signed application that is reviewed by our volunteers.
Adopter must agree that the pet will be Inside Only and must have permission from their landlord if they are renting.
Before adoption all of our pets are thoroughly examined by one of our vets. They have received a rabies shot, series of vaccinations, tested negative for FIV/FELV and are always spayed or neutered.

We are a small and devoted group of volunteers who started this organization in 2010. Our goal is to find homes for as many cats and kittens as we are physically and financially able to do. We have no facility and all of our pets are cared for in loving foster homes. We do as much as we can with the funds from adoption fees, donations and contributions from all of our volunteers.
