Meet Bluey! This sweet 10-week-old pup, believed to be a Beagle mix, came into rescue with his momma and five siblings. Based on his mom’s size (around 30 lbs) and Bluey’s current weight of just under 10 lbs, he’s expected to grow into a happy, medium-sized dog when fully grown.

Like all puppies, Bluey will need continued house training, crate training, and help learning good manners as he grows—but he’s at the perfect age to learn and thrive with consistent guidance.

Bluey is an independent pup who still loves affection, happily leaning his whole body into your hand when you pet him. He’s wonderful with toddlers, cats, and large dogs, making him a great fit for many types of homes. He is neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, and will be available for adoption starting 2/15/26 through Paws Across Pittsburgh, Springdale, PA KL# 16182.

Everyone MUST submit an application to be considered for adoption

Interview

We will talk to you and your references to get a feel of what you're looking for in a pet and if the particular pet would be a good fit

This is required. We want to see where the pet will be living and it gives us an opportunity to meet you!

Meet the Pet

A meet and greet will be arranged after you have been approved as an applicant

More about this rescue

Paws Across Pittsburgh is a 501(c)(3), foster based, non-profit animal rescue located in the Pgh area. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome homeless, abused and/or unwanted dogs and cats.

We are run solely by volunteers with the goal of providing vet care, socialization skills and nutritional needs while living in a loving foster home. All animals that enter into the rescue will receive appropriate vet care, spay/neuter, vaccinations and preventative treatments.

Our goal is to assure a loving, forever home for each one of our animals. Paws Across Pittsburgh strongly believes in Force Free training methods for our animals.
