This helps StreetCats, Inc. with pet care costs.
Esther is a 14-month-old brown patch tabby who came from an outdoor colony. She was trapped, along with her one surviving kitten, during a TNR operation, and it was decided to bring her into foster care because her living environment was unsafe. Esther had an aural hematoma on her right ear repaired, which, coupled with the initial TNR ear tip, causes both ears to curl up at the end, reminiscent of an American Curl. She is gentle and sweet, loves to be petted, enjoys playing with wand toys, and sleeps on laps. She has a calm demeanor and a darling, tiny meow. She lived with ten other cats outdoors, but has not been around dogs.
All cats have tested negative for FeLV/FIV and are current on rabies and FVRCP vaccinations. She has a Home Again microchip, and StreetCats will register it to her new adopter. In addition to her ear repair, Esther was treated for Giardia and is now parasite-free. The StreetCats adoption fee is $75; for adopters 65 years or older, it is $65.
StreetCats is located at 3105 S. Winston Ave. (one block west of 31st & Yale) in Tulsa. We are open Tuesday through Saturday from 10:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. Anyone wanting to adopt must come into StreetCats, and all members who live with them must come in as well. We do not adopt out of the state of Oklahoma and prefer to adopt in the greater Tulsa area.
