My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

FENCE PREFERRED

Grace arrived at Tri-State Collie Rescue through no fault of her own, the kind of twist in life that simply asks for a softer landing and a kinder next chapter. At just seven years old, this white factored sable-headed Rough Collie carries herself with a quiet elegance that perfectly suits her name. She does not rush the room or demand the spotlight; she glides into your heart instead, steady and sincere, with the kind of beauty that reveals itself more deeply the longer you look. Don’t let her age fool you, Grace can still show us her spunk and loves a good romp with her foster brothers, both Collies. While she is accepting of her foster brothers Grace would prefer to live life where she gets all of your attention..what diva wouldn’t?!

Grace is a gentle soul stepping into a brand-new life, and she’s hoping for someone with the patience to let her unfold at her own pace. She’s not complicated, not dramatic, just a lovely girl who wants what most of us want: to feel safe, to be cherished, and to know she belongs. With time, understanding, and a calm home, Grace promises to blossom into a devoted companion, the kind that rests quietly at your side and makes the house feel warmer simply by being there.

If you believe love can be steady, graceful, and deeply rewarding, Grace may be the dog you have been waiting for. She’s ready for her forever home, ready to be someone’s beautiful constant, and ready to give her heart to the person willing to give her one in return.

If Grace strikes your fancy and you are ready to help her continue to be the best Collie citizen ever, please fill out an adoption application today! Don't wait! And if Grace is not your cup of tea, we have many more Collies of all ages coming in weekly. Please visit https://tristatecollierescue.org/how-to-adopt/ to complete the adoption application.

Grace is being fostered in TN (Nashville area).

More about this rescue

WHO WE ARE:

TRI STATE COLLIE RESCUE VOLUNTEERS have been professional breeders and dog show exhibitors, and we have more then 50 years of combined professional experience with the collie breed. In addition, our group includes devoted collie owners and lovers. We are listed as a recognized rescue group with the COLLIE CLUB OF AMERICA

OUR MISSION:

To end the indiscriminate breeding practices of irresponsible breeders, to educate the public about the lifetime responsibilities of caring for a pet, including the necessity of spaying and neutering, and to promote the return of undying love and devotion collies offer their owners. Too many purebred collies are found as strays, in dog shelters, or in the humane societies. We hope to eliminate the euthanasia of these collies.
