Sophie is a lovely tortie girl with a gentle and easygoing personality. She came to us during a snowstorm, and after her first night settling in, she quickly decided that we were people she could trust. Since then, she’s been happy to let us care for her and be part of her world.
Sophie has really been enjoying the extra space and freedom of living with the other kitties. She gets along well with them and especially enjoys playtime with her feline friends. Watching her explore and interact with the other cats has been a joy.
While Sophie isn’t one to jump up on the couch for snuggles, she’s still very affectionate in her own way. She loves to come over for attention, rubbing against your legs and happily accepting pets.
Sophie would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a sweet, friendly cat who enjoys the company of other cats and shows her affection in quiet, loving ways.

Our adoption process involves completing a one-page adoption application. Applications are processed within 48 hours.
Adoption fees for cats/kittens are $150.00. All cats/kittens have been wormed, altered, tested for feline leukemia, given age-appropriate vaccinations, and are microchipped.
Adoption fees for dogs/puppies are $350.00 All dogs/puppies have been wormed, altered, tested for heart worm, given age-appropriate vaccinations, and are microchipped.
We also offer our Senior for Senior program matching senior animals to people over the age of 63. Adoption fees are waived for this program.

Based in Rochester MN, the organization is totally driven by volunteers.
Camp Companion is dedicated to providing low-cost spay and neuter services for feral, farm and stray companion animals. The organization is funded solely by donations, fundraisers, grants, and adoption fees. All funds we receive are used for veterinary expenses and the cost of care incurred for the animals waiting for their forever homes.
Through our spay / neuter efforts, we encounter kittens and stray domestic cats that need rescue services and a forever home. We have no shelter, but rely on foster homes to care for these rescued pets. Every animal we offer for adoption is spayed or neutered.
