Hello, my name is Hunk! I'm a 1-year-old male chihuahua/beagle mix. I am current on my vaccines, and soon to be heartworm tested, neutered, and microchipped.

Things staff and volunteers have to say about me: I'm a handsome little man with a big personality! I can be more shy and reserved around new people, but once I get to know you I'll gladly accept affection or even some tasty treats. I love playing with toys and I'm not picky about what kind! I would do best in a home that can be respectful of my boundaries.
Activity level/Energy Level: (1-10): 5/10
Housetraining Status: I am good at keeping my kennel clean, however it may take me some time to adjust to the schedule in my new home.
I should do well in a home: I will need to go to a home with children 10 years and older to ensure all household members can respect my boundaries. I should do well with other dogs given proper introductions and time to adjust. My friends at CRHS are unsure how I'd do with cats.
My favorite activities are: Playing with all kinds of toys and getting affection from my human friends

We are located at 911 Critter Court in Onalaska (right behind the Gundersen Lutheran Clinic). Animal visitation hours are from 1:00pm - 4:00pm Tuesday, Friday and Sunday. Office hours are Monday-Friday 9-5p, Saturday and Sunday 1-5p.
