IDGSR Welcomes ASTER into the safety of the rescue!!
THIS DOG IS FOSTERED IN TENNESSEE & AVAILABLE FOR TRANSPORT
**************
Hiya Friends! My name is Aster and I'm a beautiful 1yr old female German Shepherd. I am located near Nashville TN and will be available for transport.
Quick Facts
Age: 1yr old
Kids: would do fine with older kids (10+)
Dogs: good with large dogs
Cats: NO cats
Training: needs full obedience training
1. I am fairly new to the rescue but I'm settling in well at my foster home. It's amazing what love, care, and quality food can do to a rescue pup!
2. I am house & crate trained! I heard this is a big deal for puppers like me. I also eat my meals in my crate, I don't like other dogs near my food so eating in my crate keeps it safe!
3. I am a happy-go-lucky, bouncy, and playful young girl. I enjoy exploring in the yard, playing with nice doggos, and getting affection.
4. I am very smart and love treats, this will come in handy when training me in obedience! I need to learn the works: sit, stay, come, down, leash walking, place, etc. Training together will help us bond!
5. When the weather warms up, I would love to go neighborhood walks, check out some hiking trails, hit up the drive thru to get a pup-cup, help you in the yard, and go anywhere you'll take me!
6. If you're looking for a friendly, playful, smart, dog friendly, and beautiful new companion - I'm your girl!
**SERIOUS APPLICANTS ONLY! If you are not 100% ready to adopt, please wait**

Imminent Danger German Shepherd Rescue started in 2011 rescuing German Shepherds and High Content Mixes from Imminent Danger where they were sitting on Death Row in High Kill Animal Control Facilities in TN, NC, SC, KY, VA, GA & AL. Over 1000 Dog's lives have been spared and we've never worked so hard in our lives to save these wonderful kids. Our process from saving these kids includes 30 years of experience in working breed dogs. We conduct Safer Tests with all dogs to determine the abilities of the dogs so that we can match the right dog to the right family. We do not shove our dogs out the door. We do multiple videos of the dogs as well to our potential adopters. We disclose all positive and negative behavior traits so our adopters can work on any training the dog may need. IDGSR starts the rehabilitation and training with these wonderful kids and our adopters are part of the team of folks who help to ensure these kids will never suffer another day of hardship in their lives again. IDGSR will not take Aggressive Dogs into the Rescue.
If you have ever loved a German Shepherd then you will know where our hearts are to save these dogs from a certain death. It is our goal to save more but we need wonderful qualified families who want to save a life and welcome a new family member. We continue the work with our adopters even after adoption including helping with training, and giving advice and counsel. IDGSR's staff look forward to hearing from you. Help us to find your new devoted and loyal best friend.
