My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

MILLI VANILLI was rescue just before “snowmagedon” - she and her legally family had been left in a trailer when they’re senior owner needed more care. She is currently in a foster home or she’s getting plenty of socialization. Here’s what her foster mom has to say:Milli Vanilli is a sweet 1yr 3mo old former teen mom ready for her forever home!  She is a beagle mix that found herself in need of rescue when her mom was admitted to a nursing home.  Milli warmed up to her foster parents, 4 dogs, and 2 cats immediately.  She has been somewhat fearful of new people in her new surroundings, but easy to win over with treats.  Milli is housebroken and alerts when she needs to go outside.  She fiercely loves ❤️ and is loyal to those that love her.  Milli Vanilli will be spayed on Feb 12, as well as vaccinated, heartworm tested and microchipped.  She will patiently wait, loved and safe, for her new family.

If you were the family that Milli is looking for, please fill out an application at www.companimals.org. Vet references and home visit required. Adoption fee $350.

More about this rescue

CompAnimals Pet Rescue is a small not-for-profit "no kill" rescue. Our mission is to take in unwanted, abandoned or abused dogs, cats and other small pets; to place those we can in loving, permanent homes; and to provide a sanctuary for the animals whose age, health issues or temperament precludes them from adoption. Our dogs & cats are neutered, vaccinated and receive all necessary medical treatment beford being made available for adoption. Through our volunteers and outreach programs we educate the next generation about the importance of spay/neuter and giving a lifelong home to their pets. We hope to one day put ourselves out of business but until then we will continue to rescue regardless of breed, age or medical condition.
