These two cattle dogs are in the Lee county Shelter. We are pulling them but they need a foster. They can be separated and would do best in a house with a foster dog sibling to help build their confidence.
They are about a year old. These two are sweet but they are very scared in the shelter.
❤️Dally is a female and she is very shy but enjoys other dogs. She will likely need a little time to trust people. She does allow pets but will retreat when first approached.
💙Roper is the male and he is a little more outgoing than his sister. Roper also likes being around other dogs.
These two have amazing potential, they just need a little love, understanding and some training.
💕Please let us know if you’re an approved foster and have space for one of these pups. If you are not approved and would like to foster, please apply.

We require potential adopters to fill out an Adoption Application. When that is approved we can arrange for the prospective adopter to meet the dog they are interested in. We do require an adoption contract to be signed at time of adoption. We have a virtual home-check process (don't forget to submit photos of the exterior of your home!) Adoption fees range depending on the age of the dog. We do have dogs located at qualified fosters throughout the state and also out of state.

Since all rescue dogs live in foster homes, there is no single facility to meet pups.
You will need to contact Ewenity Farms HDH to make arrangements to meet the rescue dog after you have an approved app on file. Apps can be filled out at ewenityfarm.org

More about this rescue
We are a small, foster-based rescue organization located in Southwest Florida. Being small helps us give more one-on-one attention to individual dogs and their needs. Rescued dogs are kept in our homes and treated as our own. Herding dogs are unique. They are highly intelligent and require much of the owner’s attention. The dogs are evaluated, when they come into the rescue, for any temperament and health issues. Then they are given basic obedience, socialization and rehabilitation as it is necessary.
It is our sole purpose to find forever homes for these loving, wonderful dogs that have been discarded through no fault of their own. All adopted dogs are spayed/neutered, up to date on shots, heartworm negative, micro-chipped, and on flea and heartworm preventative.
