My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Aurora is a connoisseur of the cozy lifestyle. This 6-year-old lady has mastered the art of the "mosey" and believes that every walk should be a leisurely tour rather than a race. Her absolute favorite activity is finding the perfect patch of sunlight for a nap but she will happily wake up for a tasty snack.

When she is excited about a treat or a friend she performs her signature move where she joyfully taps her paws on the ground like she is playing a happy tune. Aurora is a gentle friend to everyone she meets including children and other dogs. She has even introduced herself to a cat with polite curiosity. She keeps her living space tidy and brings a calm sweetness to every room she enters.

Additional adoption info

We strive for an open adoption process that helps you find the right pet for your family. We have standard adoption fees, but offer frequent adoption promotions with reduced adoption fees. During the adoption process there is a brief consultation with our Adoption Specialist and a short contract to sign prior to finalizing the adoption. Best Friends commits to the pets for life and we will take back the pet if they can no longer be cared for in your family. Adopters must be 18 years or older to adopt a pet.
