My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Paczki — as sweet as the pastry he’s named after and just as irresistible. 🐾✨

This charming little gentleman is a playful, curious kitten with a heart full of sugar and spice. Paczki loves exploring every corner of his world, turning the simplest things into grand adventures. Whether he’s chasing a toy, investigating a new sound, or pouncing with adorable determination, he brings joy wherever he goes.

Paczki is also wonderfully social and gets along great with other cats. He’d love a feline friend to romp and cuddle with, sharing both playtime and cozy nap sessions. After he’s done being the life of the party, he’s more than happy to curl up beside you and soak up some affection.

If you’re looking for a sweet, playful companion who will add warmth and a little extra sprinkle of happiness to your home, Paczki is ready to be your perfect treat. 💛

More about this shelter

We serve the pets and people in Northern Illinois and Southeastern Wisconsin. Our mission is clear: To take responsibility for each and every orphaned, abandoned, abused or neglected dog and cat which reaches our doors; to take them in and shelter them; to provide the best medical and physical care possible for them; to nurture them back to health if need be; and finally to place them into warm, loving, adoptive homes where they can enjoy the lives they deserve.
