Jack is a male Shepherd mix, about 5 yrs old. He weighs 45#. He is a good dog... no aggression but also no training. He has been getting some leash training of which he's doing very well. This guy needs to have a companion to take him everywhere, go on hikes, and maybe even swimming. He loves people and is great with other dogs. He does need daily exercise but I’m sure he will calm down after he knows he’s in a forever home and gets his love and exercise every day. He deserves a second chance…he needs someone who believes in him!

This dog is CURRENTLY IN TEXAS and available for pre-adoption. Adoptions include neuter/spay, vaccinations (DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies), microchip, health certificate, transport with our professional dog transporter, and 6 mos of heart worm prevention. You will receive the dog's folder with all the printouts proving the medical treatments received.
You can ask us about how pre-adoption works and our "trial period."
Adoption Fee: Includes all of the vetting and transportation to WA/OR.

We have no means of transporting our dogs to the NE without it being a pre-adoption. All our dogs were saved in Texas. Our transporters go to the Northeast typically 3-4 times/month to OH, PN, NY, VT, CT, NJ, MD and VA. Likely one of our transports also can go to NH and ME and even FLA too! Please email us as we can likely get a dog to most states!. All dogs must be pre-adopted because we have no fosters in the NE. We also adopt in Pacific Northwest and mid-west as well. Some of our adopters have come from both Canada and Alaska.
We do adoption events in Olympia, WA once/month at The Pet Works in Olympia, and once/month at Tractor Supply in Olympia, WA. You can email us at shaynesrescue.com for inquiries/questions.

Hence, we foster for TX rescues who do impeccable jobs of vetting, quarantine all of their pups/dogs and send up the best dogs we have ever met. All have a health certificate prior to transport (vet visit). We work super hard volunteering and we can always use more assistance from volunteers!
