Heathcliff wasn’t born hardened by the world. He was once someone’s baby — loved, handled, taught that people were safe.
But somewhere along the way, that love disappeared. He was left to survive on his own.
He found shelter in an abandoned house with four female cats. It was freezing inside — so cold you could see your breath hanging in the air. Strangers would come and go, and safety was never certain. The house itself now stands waiting to be torn down.
Through it all, Heathcliff stepped into a role no one asked him to fill.
He became the caretaker.
The only male among the five, he quietly watched over “his girls.” And one in particular — sweet Luna, who is blind in one eye — stole his heart. Heathcliff stayed close to her. He made sure she was safe. He was her steady presence in a world that wasn’t kind.
This boy is not just handsome — he is devoted. Loyal. Gentle.
He wants affection. He leans into touch. He longs for connection. Beneath that brave protector is a cat who simply wants someone to promise him he will never have to be scared or cold again.
Heathcliff is fully vetted and ready for a real home — one where he can finally lay down the weight of responsibility and just be someone’s cherished boy.
He has protected others.
Now it’s his turn to be protected.

Our pets are mostly in foster homes in our area. Once an application has been approved, we set up a meet n greet at our home in Copley.

We are a small rescue group that saves abandoned kittens and cats off of the streets, vets them and work to find them a happy safe next chapter. We are also hitting the overpopulation problem with hitting it at its core with TNR.
