My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Lucile 💕🐾
Adoption Fee: $55

Lucile is a sweet 12-year-old senior lady who is very sleepy and laid back. She’s the kind of dog who prefers cozy nights in over nights out—soft blankets, a comfy bed, and dozing off while you watch TV instead of going on big adventures.

Lucile brightens up when she’s given attention, even if she moves at her own slow, gentle pace. She does have some medical challenges: Lucile has mammary tumors on her belly, which will be removed when she is spayed, and she is also heartworm positive, meaning she has a long road of treatment and recovery ahead of her. She will need a patient, compassionate home willing to support her through this journey.

All Lucile wants now is comfort, kindness, and someone to help give her the very best golden years a girl could ask for. 💛🐶

Their adoption process

1.

Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

We like to meet prospective adopters and be with them when they meet a potential new pet.

2.

Meet the Pet

Meet and greets are strongly encouraged if there are other dog(s) and/or cat(s) or children in the home

3.

Sign Adoption Contract

Renter's are required to provide letter from landlord approving a pet or additional pet

4.

Pay Fee

Our fees are low and do not cover much of the expenses we put into the animal prior to its becoming available for adoption.

5.

Take the Pet Home

We ask new owners to not return an animal before 9 days so its entry time can restart.

6.

Take the Pet Home

We remind the new family that it may take up to 3 months for a dog to decompress, learn the the family's routine, and feel at home.

Additional adoption info

We have the right and responsibility to the animal and the prospective new owner to refuse an adoption.
