I rescued Maizie from a local shelter. She had been there for more than two months. She was so happy to leave that place. She’s young and has a lot of energy and didn’t appear to have any training. I’ve been working with her and she has made a lot of improvements. She is very sweet and wants to snuggle and be with her human.
One of my dogs is big and playful and that has created stress for Maizie. She is protective of toys/chews but has shown improvement in that area. She is a jumper and counter surfer. She has really improved, but you have to correct her. She is finally responding to that. One of the big issues is she can climb my chain linked fence. She runs around the neighborhood, but then returns in her own time. I have been using an e-collar to correct. I have a memory foam bed, e collar and toys for her.
