Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Foster Cat`s Name: Tristan
Sex: Male
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
* If Other, please specify :
Colour/Pattern : Black and White Tuxedo
Date of Birth (if known):
If not able to be adopted immediately, when can they be adopted (example: if kitten is under 8 weeks or waiting on medical treatment): February 09, 2026
My Foster Likes (a few words or one sentence) : Bird watching, lots of cuddle time, playing with sister Trinket
My Foster Dislikes (a few words or one sentence): Sudden movement, noises, still spooks easily
My Foster`s Ideal Home Would Have (a few words or one sentence): Would love a home for him and sister Trinket, and or another feline friend
Good with cats?: Yes
Good with dogs?: Unknown
Good with children?: Yes, but only older/quiet
Would this kitty enjoy an animal companion?: Yes
Temperament: Mix of needy and independent
Ideal type of household?: Low activity
How long will it take kitty to settle into a new environment?: A few weeks, A few days
Foster cat`s bio for their adoption profile: Tristan and Trinket were found in a ditch in a recent very cold weather event. They both had frostbite injuries to their paws and tails. Trinket has lost half of her tail, but the paw injuries have healed well on both. Both kittens were very traumatized and spent days in hiding as best they could, but have come around a great deal and now follow their foster mom everywhere, spending lots of time cuddling. They still spook easily and would need a quiet home with patient people who can provide lots of loving care, you would be rewarded with lots of love and entertainment. They would not do well with younger children or a busy environment. Both have adapted well to the older cats in their foster home.
Any special needs or traits the adopter should know about? (we may add this to the bio):

More about this rescue
Since 1996 SCAT Street Cat Rescue's prime focus has been feral cats because of the limited options available for them. TNR is a successful option instead of the traditional trap and kill. The majority of the cats rescued by SCAT, however, are socialized and available for adoption. As the city grows, so to does the need for our services. Adopt, Donate, Volunteer, TODAY!
