My name is Chico!

Hi! I’m Chico, and I’m looking for my forever home!
I’m a sweet, gentle, happy little Chihuahua with a big personality packed into my tiny body. At about 5 months old and not quite 7 pounds, I’m still a puppy… which means I bring lots of energy, love, and laughter wherever I go.
For such a young pup, I’m already very smart and know basic commands, and I’m excited to keep learning! I’m told I’m a perfect little gentleman with great manners, fun tricks, and a joyful spirit that will warm your heart! I love sunning in the yard, running around for fun and look forward to our future walks together. I’m also not much of a barker…only when appropriate, so far. At night, I sleep peacefully in my crate all night long. During the day, I’m happy to be your perfect little work buddy and nap while we work…especially if that means sitting on your lap. When evening comes, I’d love to play fetch with you and my toys, burn off a little puppy energy, and then settle in for snuggles.
My ideal home would be with someone who isn’t gone all day, since I really enjoy having my person nearby. Because I’m small and gentle, I would do best in a home without very small children or large dogs who might overwhelm me.
