My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Say hello to sweet Sofia! This gorgeous gal, is in search of a new home after her owner's living situation changed. Sofia was an excellent older sister to Luna, who was adopted, and helped her build trust and confidence. She is kennel-trained, dog-friendly, people-friendly, playful, and has just about the most beautiful coat you ever did see! Sweet Sofia deserves to be in a home, not a noisy shelter. Will you be the one to give her a fresh start? Come and meet Sofia today!

More about this rescue

Our goal is to eliminate the euthanasia of companion animals in Galveston County by promoting and providing resources, education, and programs to transform animal welfare in our communities.

What makes us different is we were created to not just help animals, but people too. We realize that animals and people are very much interconnected, and a big part of our organization is outreach.
