Otter is the female runt from a litter of 8. She is very sweet and loving! She can be a little timid, but is extremely loving. She is mostly black, with one little spot of white on her chest. She loves to snuggle and play!
Otter is in need of a foster home ASAP!! You provide the love, we will continue to provide food, vet care, preventative meds, and supplies.
All American Mix. Her mama appears to be a Boxer mix. We think they may potentially have some pitbull terrier, lab, hound.
We try to limit our travel time for home visits to a two-hour driving range (about 75 miles) from Morganton, NC.

You can visit our website to complete an application and e-fax it to us or mail it or e-mail it back. We will check references and set up a home visit once the animal is identified. The adoption fee is $100 - seniors always receive a 25% reduction in adoption fee as does a veteran or military person. Both discounts may be combined.

A Better Life Animal Rescue, Inc. is a no-kill foster home-based rescue organization located in Burke County, North Carolina. We do not operate an animal shelter. We rely on volunteer foster families to provide temporary care for rescued dogs and cats until they can either be matched with loving, responsible, permanent adoptive families or until lost pets can be reunited with their own loving families. Our mission is to reduce pet overpopulation and to save dogs and cats whose lives are in jeopardy because of neglect, mistreatment, illness, injury or ignorance.
