Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Disney 3.5 years old - 42 lbs - Rottweiler Mix
Meet Disney — a little bit of magic wrapped in a beautiful Rottie mix package.
At 3.5 years old and around 42 pounds, Disney is the perfect “just right” size — big enough to join you on adventures, but compact enough to fit comfortably into just about any home.
Disney truly is the total package!! **Wonderful with other dogs **Great with cats **Fantastic with kids **Smart and already knows several commands
This sweet girl is friendly, well-mannered, and settles into family life as if she’s always been part of it. She has a lovely balance of playful energy and calm companionship — happy to enjoy playtime in the yard, a walk around the neighborhood, or simply relaxing by your side.
Disney’s intelligence makes her eager to learn, and her gentle, social nature makes her an easy addition to most homes. She thrives on connection and will quickly become a loyal, loving member of her forever family.
If you’re looking for a dog who checks all the boxes — affectionate, dog-friendly, cat-friendly, kid-approved, and smart — Disney may be your happily-ever-after.
Come meet Disney and see just how magical she really is!

More about this shelter
Clay County Animal Rescue & Education Center is a nonprofit 501(c)(3), volunteer driven organization dedicated to rescuing, caring for and adopting out homeless dogs into loving and responsible forever homes. We educate the public on respect for all animal life, including the importance of feral animals being spayed or neutered in order to reduce their numbers in our communities. Our organization goes beyond the confines of shelter walls to build an extensive network of knowledgeable, experienced, talented and caring individuals who share these common goals.
Our Mission: The Clay County Animal Rescue & Education Center (CCARE) is an animal care facility dedicated to improving the lives of companion animals in our communities and finding permanent and loving adoptive homes for the animals in our care. We provide a safe haven for animals in transition, serve as advocates for them and their people, work to end overpopulation and educate the public about compassion and responsibility towards all animals. CCARE strives to be a No-Kill facility where all incoming animals are evaluated, medically treated, rehabilitated when needed and euthanized only out of necessity based on the animal’s quality of life needs.
We believe in making Clay County a place where all animals are treated humanely, and every pet has a loving forever home.
