Well howdy there… I’m Huckleberry, the orange sunshine of the berry bunch. 🍊🍓
I’m a gorgeous medium-haired orange tabby boy with soft stripes and the warmest golden glow. My foster family says I look like I was dipped in honey and sunshine — and honestly, that feels about right. I’m just as sweet as I look.
I came to the rescue with my five siblings and my wonderful mama after we were saved from a hoarding situation. It was a big beginning for a tiny guy, but we’ve been safe, loved, and cared for ever since. All of us have fun berry names, which makes us sound like the happiest little fruit salad you’ve ever met.
If there’s one thing you should know about me, it’s this: I am a total mama’s boy. I adore my mommy. I follow her, snuggle her, and nap beside her whenever I can. I also love people just as much. I’m a super sweet boy who melts into pets and scratches. The moment your hand touches me, my motor starts — I am a full-time, professional purring machine.
I enjoy playtime too! Toys that make noise catch my attention right away, and stuffed toys are perfect for carrying around or gently wrestling. I like to play, but I’m especially happy when playtime ends with cuddles.
I’m neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated — all ready for my forever home. With proper, slow introductions, I should do wonderfully with other cats, cat-friendly dogs, and respectful children. I have a gentle heart and a loving nature that makes me an easy companion.
If I could make one little wish, it would be to go home with my mommy or one of my berry siblings. We’ve been through so much together, and I’d love to keep one of them by my side. But most of all, I’m ready for a family who will let me love them with all my tiny orange heart.
I’ll be ready to go home after February 18th. Do you have room for a sweet, purring Huckleberry in your life? 💛
