Here's what the humans have to say about me:
M - 9 years old - Cocker Spaniel Mix -
Shaggy is the definition of relaxed. He’s calm, easygoing, and perfectly content to coexist peacefully with other dogs. He’s always ready for comfy beds, slow strolls, and quiet companionship.
Like many sweet cocker spaniel mixes, Shaggy does have a couple of manageable health needs. He experiences chronic dry eye, so his eyes will need to be flushed regularly to keep them comfortable and free of buildup. He also has some ongoing ear issues, so routine ear cleanings will be important to keep him feeling his best. He also is a little overweight, but with exercise and a healthy diet, we know he can get to the appropriate weight.
Shaggy would thrive in a home that appreciates a mellow companion and doesn’t mind a little extra TLC. In return, you’ll get a gentle, steady presence who’s happiest just being near his people.
ADOPT
